Integrated Building Materials Company Byucksan (CEO Sungshik Kim) announced on the 13th to hold a ceremony to mark the dedication of the second production line of the nonorganic insulation system Glass Wool at Byucksan Iksan Plant located in Iksan, Jeonbuk. Amid growing social awareness of fire safety and noninflammable insulation system, Byucksan has been working on Iksan Plant's production facilities since last year, recently completing the expansion of No.2 of its production line for Glass Wool and began mass-production. As a result, Byucksan predicts that it will be able to produce 70,000 tons of Glass Wool annually, and that it will also plan to invest in additional No.3 in the future, which will produce a total of 100,000 tons in production facilities and further strengthen its position in the nonorganic insulation system market. The ceremony was attended by CEO Sungshik Kim and other domestic and foreign officials, including Byucksan executives, Iksan Chamber of Commerce Chairman Heejoon Yang, and Korea Standards Association Jeonbuk Head Shinmo Son, held progress reports, commemorative speeches, and tape cutting respectively. Byucksan CEO Sungshik Kim said in a commemorative speech, "Starting with the expansion of Iksan Plant's Glass Wool production line, Byucksan has become more competitive in the nonorganic insulation market. We will continue to make efforts to develop insulation technology and invest in production facilities to stay ahead of the future insulation market.” (End) |
